First things first: our name. Cnawlece is mid-English for Knowledge. Here at Cnawlece Incorporated we pronounce it as "naw-les" so that it sounds much like our modern word Knowledge but with a softer "s" replacing the "dg".

The company was incorporated in 2004 by Colin Schmidt, with roots back to his first commercial software built in 1995. Our history is rich in experience with non-profits and equestrian sport, as Colin competed for Canada in Equestrian Vaulting from 1995 to 2010.

Version 1.0 of what became Moxie.Build was first used by Horse Council of BC for their 2003 membership year. At this time, the provincial sport organizations for equestrian in BC, AB, SK, MB, ON, QC, NB, and NS are long term customers. The have partnered with Cnawlece to build more than what they could accomplish alone, but each still maintains control over their own systems and development priorities. This group of clients has 10X the features, at 1/10th the cost of comparable systems used by other organizations in the same field.

Dozens of other Cnawlece customers include businesses of all sizes: small, medium, and enterprise. Our for-profit customers utilize Moxie.Build for their primary websites, product catalogs, knowledge bases, and customer portals that manage workflows to keep the customer in the loop. We are passionate about empowering our client's customers to get things done, now, not later.

Our office overlooks the heart of downtown Chilliwack, BC, Canada, as part of the Downtown Business Centre. We host networking and education events for startups and high tech companies here, as well as run our daily operations from our "corner keep" of the building. If you are in the area, stop by and say hello to our receptionist, and she can let you know if we are available for a chat about your project, career, or startup.
